White Pasta
Ingredients
For Pasta:
- 1 cup pasta
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 4-5 cups of water
For White Sauce:
- 1 ½ teaspoon butter
- 1 tablespoon maida (all purpose flour)
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoon grated cheese
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon dried chilli flakes
- Pinch of black pepper powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- Add all the ingredients for the pasta to the Clay Pot Multi Cooker. Boil them until al-dente. It will probably take around 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer cooked pasta to a large colander and drain the excess water.
- Now add butter, maida, milk to the cooker and stir it properly.
- Close the lid and set the cooker on White Pasta mode.
- After 8-10 minutes, add cheese, oregano, red chili flakes, black pepper powder, and salt. Stir it well.
- Add the pasta to the mixture and stir it again.
- Garnish it with grated cheese and serve while it’s still hot.
